Managed to do a few odd jobs over the Christmas break, despite being away for most of it. Got some tools as Christmas presents which pretty much completes my required list. A new rolling road has just opened up next door to my work site which is handy.
Boss arrived but it is no good. Too big and heavy. Managed to cut out the paddle shift in 5mm thick aluminium plate. Need to buy a few more tools to finish this off though. It is going to take some time to get the desired finish.
15th January
My birthday! My wife bought me the got the Bending the Rules DVD by Andrew Walsh. Should make for interesting watching. Another track day planned for next month too.
23rd January
Some more tools and safety equipment arrived from Screwfix. Finished cutting out the paddle shift mount and have started tidying it up.
