March 2019

Bit of a break from doing anything on the Fury as I've been super busy helping my my son  restore his 1990 Eunos Roadster .

The other thing that has changed is that after nearly 30 years at BT, I've taken a 'paid leaver' scheme payment and become self-employed. My smart home technology company is called Smartisant Ltd . The major upside of this is that I now have much more time to work on the Fury :-)

The Fury R1 passed it's MOT today :-) On the second attempt though. The rear right handbrake wasn't working, so I had to take it all apart and work out what was going on. It turns out the cable had been seized up on the handbrake pulley, as the cable sheath had worn away and got stuck in the U-shaped puller. I completely dismantled it all and lubricated it all up and all was good.

The family's sports cars

This is a photo I've been meaning to take for a while now. On the left is my daughter's 2018 Mazda MX-5 and on the right is my son's 1990 Eunos Roadster (which has been takling up so much of my time recently). It shows just how small the Fury really is and why it weighs less than half the weight of the lightest of MX-5's :-)
