I had Lee Crisp come around this morning to weld up a tiny, hairline crack I found whilst tidying up the chassis. Whilst I got the engine out, the whole front end of the car is being cleaned and restored with many brackets and parts being repainted.
The crack was ground down to a V and welded up.
Whilst I was cleaning up the car, I took the Nitron springs and dampers off to clean them up. These are still in fantastic condition and almost look like new still.
Whilst cleaning and lubricating the springs/dampers, I noticed some of the O-rings were a bit worn and distorted, so I phoned Nitron to order some new ones. These shoudl arrive tomorrow :-)
The new Nitron O-rings arrived in the post as promised.
Bought a new headlight from Vehicle Wiring Products 
as I somehow managed to crack another one last year.
I had thought to go down an all LED route but I like the simple, slightly retro look of the current lights.
